Legislative History

1. Adopted as Child Support Order Ordinance.

2. Section TCT.05.01(c) amended by Tribal Council by adding "and Section GMG.02.07(g)" at the end of the sentence to permit enforcement of child support orders. Section GMG.02.07(c), (C)(3); Section GMG.02.07(f) amended by Tribal Council to address the trust agreement; to address encouraging students to obtain their high school diploma or G.E.D.; to address debts owed to the Tribe and the debtor declines Per Capita Payment. Section GMG.02.07(c)(7) newly created to address the trust fund monies if the minor qualified tribal members dies before receiving the trust fund. Sections Section GMG.02.07(g), (G)(1), (G)(1)(a), (G)(1)(b) newly created to permit Tribal Court ordered child support. BIA, Indian Gaming Management, Washington DC approved amendments. Adoption required amendments to Chapter TCT.05 and Chapter GMG.02 by same resolution.
